Extraction in Seconds!
still1.jpg
DPX stands for Disposable Pipette EXtraction. It is a patented solid-phase extraction (SPE) device that is unique from all other SPE devices. DPX uses pipette tips that incorporate loosely contained sorbent material that is mixed with the sample solution. This unique mixing provides numerous advantages:

•    No conditioning steps are necessary
•    Minimal elution solvent volumes
•    Rapid extraction times (less than 3 minutes/sample)
•    High extraction efficiencies
•    Easy to perform extractions

What does this all mean?

•    Lower costs
•    Higher throughput
•    Environmentally friendly
•    Minimal training required

Advantages of Using DPX Tips

Advantages of using DPX tips include reducing solvent usage, reducing solvent waste and increasing laboratory throughput. DPX technology is not only "greener", but it also saves money. For analysis of pesticides in fruit and vegetables, click here to find out how one laboratory has saved time and money using DPX tips.

Rapid Cleanup Demo

This video shows a rapid "cleanup" method using a DPX-WAX (weak anion exchange sorbent) tip. An acetonitrile solution of protein precipitated whole blood is rapidly processed in 60 seconds by aspirating the solution into the DPX-WAX tip, mixing the solution with the sorbent by aspirating air, and then dispensing the "clean" solution back into the tube. Note the comparison of with and without "cleanup" at the end of the video.
